SMM Titanium Spot Market Update: Weak Demand Keeps Titanium Dioxide Prices Stable Today. SMM reported on March 7 that the titanium dioxide market remained stable recently. Currently, the price of sulphuric acid process rutile titanium dioxide is quoted at 14,200-15,000 yuan/mt, while the price of anatase titanium dioxide is quoted at 12,800-13,500 yuan/mt, basically flat compared to the previous working day.
SMM March 7 News: Recently, the titanium dioxide market has maintained stable operation. Currently, the quotation for sulphuric acid method rutile titanium dioxide is 14,200-15,000 yuan/mt, while the quotation for anatase titanium dioxide is 12,800-13,500 yuan/mt, basically flat compared to the previous working day. The downstream market recovery fell short of expectations, ore prices continue to fluctuate at highs, sulphuric acid prices show an upward trend, titanium dioxide costs are increasing, titanium dioxide factories face significant production resistance, and most companies are currently in a wait-and-see stage. SMM, February 6 - According to SMM’s investigation of market information, a large smelter in northern China began public bidding for a certain quantity of indium ingots and bismuth ingots starting yesterday. Market sources indicate that the starting price for these indium ingots exceeds 4,000 yuan per kilogram, while the starting price for bismuth ingots is above 150,000 yuan per ton. The bidding results are expected to be announced before the Spring Festival. Market participants note that, given the clear trend of sluggish trading activity ahead of the Spring Festival, the timing of this bidding is not ideal.
